November Events at The Outpost
We've got some great classes and events at The Outpost for the month of November, including our sold out Make Your Own Notebook Workshop, our monthly Art Walk Sketch Night (this month's theme is noir), our monthly journaling and letter-writing meet up, The Lost Art of Letter Writing workshop with artist and visual journaler Erin Nolan, and a fun community Inksgiving event where you'll be able to stop by and share ink with other members of the community.

Pioneer Square First Thursday Art Walk Sketch Night at The Outpost
November 5 · 4PM– 8PM
This is a free event during the Art Walk and you can stop by to sketch with pens and paper from our stationery bar. This month's theme is Noir night, and you're encouraged to experiment with black, white, and gray colors.
No RSVP is needed.
Make Your Own Notebook Workshop
November 7 · 11AM–1PM
Registration: We are SOLD OUT for this event.
Join Santiago and Joveth in the new Outpost Stationery Workshop and learn how to make your own notebooks using paper from one of our favorite paper makers: Carta Pura. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with two notebooks made by you.

Join us for our monthly low-pressure journaling & letter-writing gathering. Bring a notebook, write a letter, trade some ink samples, stay a while. Loose-leaf paper, envelopes, and stamps will be provided. Stay for five minutes or the whole morning.
The Lost Art of Letter Writing with Erin Nolan
November 15 · 11AM–1PM
Registration: $45
Join artist and visual journaler Erin Nolan for The Lost Art of Letter Writing, a hands-on workshop exploring how handwriting, layout, color, collage, and ephemera can turn a simple letter into something personal and expressive.
Erin will guide you through getting past the blank page, composing and designing your letter, and adding thoughtful finishing touches to both the page and envelope.
No experience is needed, and all materials for use during class are provided.

Inksgiving: A Community Ink Swap & Swatching Event

Bring some ink, take some ink, and try something new at Inksgiving, our community fountain pen ink swap and swatching event. Bring labeled ink samples to trade or give away, browse samples shared by other community members, and head to our swatching station to try your new finds and explore inks that we carry at The Outpost. No ink to bring? No problem: stop by, pick up a donated sample, and discover a new favorite.
